Festspiele Known as the mother temple in Bali, the Besakih Temple has been celebrating its biannual Piodalan Temple anniversary for many years. The celebration is usually done every Tuesday on the Kliwon Julungwangi cycle according to the 210-day Pawukon Calendar. On this holiday, pilgrims head to the temple to perform prayers amongst other festivities and rituals.
