Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida




Kelingking Beach is the most famous spot in Nusa Penida. This place is only one hour away from Toyapakeh. Grab a scooter and take a ride across the island until reaching the dirt path that guides you to the edge. The moment you reach there, you will be at the edge of a high cliff, revealing other cliffs formations that shape a T-Rex Dinosaur folding around the seashore in an epic combination.

» If you are in Bali and want to go to Nusa Penida; you might start your journey from Sanur Harbor. It is the cushiest and frugal way to go there. The boat will cost you around IDR 100,000!

» You should be ready with your itinerary before you go there to save time, money, and effort. Three days at least are all that you need to roam Nusa Penida.

» Coming to Nusa Penida in June wouldn’t be a very good idea, as the sea waves are not so permissive during this month.

» If you want to go to Nusa Lembongan easily; you better make Sanur Harbor or Nusa Penida your start point. It will take around 30 minutes to reach the island, but beware you might get wet during the voyage.

» Scooters are the most adventurous, practical, and easiest way to move around the island. Rent a scooter, hop, and enjoy the breathtaking nature and wander across the rims.

» Unlike Nusa Penida, you can easily exchange money or use ATM Machines in Nusa Lembongan either in Mushroom Bay or at Jungut Batu Harbor.

» Most places of residence on that island have salty showers. Only a few places will allow you to use their pure water if you have your own bottle to refill.

» Try to evade the peak season which is mostly from July to October, you will find it much entertaining when it’s not too crowded. Also, try to avoid the peak hours which are predominately from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
